We will be having two of our traditional celebrations this Thursday and Friday. On Thursday, May 21st, our 5th grade teachers and admin team will be traveling to each 5th graders home to mark their rite of passage from elementary school to middle school with a graduation ceremony. Each 5th grade Patriot will receive their diploma along with a few parting gifts from TJ. We do encourage each of our 5th grade Patriots to wear their "Forge Your Own Path" t-shirts for the event as a reminder of their power to control their future success. The Graduation Parades will start at 9 a.m. on Thursday and parade routes are posted on our school webpage and our Facebook page.

On Friday we will mark the last day of school with a drive-bye parade where families come take a lap around the school. We encourage all of our families to come out to the school as we celebrate the end of another successful school year and wave goodbye to their teachers. Due to social distancing guidelines, we will be splitting up into two separate parades with grades PreK-2 from 12:00 to 1:30 and grades 3-5 from 2:15 to 3:45. Along with the parade, we will have student personal belongings from classrooms and class pictures available for pick-up as well as a drop off box for library books. We will even have an icy treat for all of our Patriots at the end of the parade route. After the parade completes, we will be having our annual end of the year Patriot Palooza at 4:00 via Facebook Live. We encourage all to view as we wrap up the 2019-2020 school year. I even heard there may be a special musical guest that makes an appearance. I wouldn't want to miss it.

We hope you are doing well and staying safe. And as always, together, #WeAreTJES.
