We will be adopting JT Barber Elementary in New Bern, NC and raise funds to assist with their recovery from Hurricane Florence. JT Barber ES is a Title 1 school similar to Thomas Jefferson ES. The school has suffered a significant amount of water damage. Team TJES will host table at the homecoming football game next week, October 19th to raise funds.

On Monday, October 22nd wear your black #Kindness shirts
On Tuesday, October 23rd wear mismatched clothes (plaids, stripes, bright colors, etc) for Our “Mix It Up Lunch”
Everyone can pay $1 to wear pajamas on Wednesday, October 24th. Donations will be donated to JT Barber Elementary.
Everyone can pay $1 to wear a hat on Thursday, October 26th. Wear your hat and tip it to say hello to others. Donations will be donated to JT Barber Elementary.
Everyone can pay $1 to wear your favorite workout or sports gear on Friday, October 27th. We will focus on including everyone while playing together. Donations will be donated to JT Barber Elementary.

We will finish out with a contest between Mr. Epps, Mr. Cleaver, and Dr. C. Jars will be placed in the front hall and whoever's jar raises the most money will get "pied" at a whole school meeting.

Looking ahead:
Report cards are coming home on Friday, October 19th. Your child’s teacher will be contacting you to schedule a parent-teacher conference. We strongly encourage every parent to schedule this meeting to review the beginning of the year testing info about your Patriot and how we can partner to ensure they are successful!

Thank you for your attention and support and we look forward to seeing everyone bright and early!

We Believe, One Team, One Dream!
