Hello Patriots!
Looking at the week ahead, we will take part in Start with Hello Spirit Week sponsored by the Sandy Hook Promise. The days are as follows:
- Monday - Green Shirt
- Tuesday - PJs
- Wednesday - Favorite Shirt
- Thursday - Super Hero
- Friday - TJ Gear or Red, White, and Blue.
This week we will also host our fabulous MVP Day event on Friday. If you haven't already done so please be sure to pre-register your Patriot's MVP. You can do so by returning the form that was sent home or by calling the main office. Check in for the event will begin at 8:10. MVPs will need a valid photo ID and will be screened using our Open Gate weapon detector system. MVPs will head to classrooms to join their Patriots at 8:40. From there our MVPs will have an opportunity to see what class is like, visit the book fair, and create lasting memories with their Patriot. The event concludes at 11:00. MVPs may sign their Patriots out with the teacher as long as they have permission to do so. We are excited to see everyone on Friday!
- Lastly, if you haven't done so already, please complete your Patriot's online "Back to School Paperwork". This will include their technology contract, clinic card, approved pick-up list, and many more vital items for their successful school year. To complete the "paperwork", see the email you received from PowerSchool Registration last week and follow the directions. If you need assistance or did not receive an email, you may contact our help desk by calling 540-894-4373 or by emailing [email protected]. You can also come to our TJ Main Office from 8:15 to 2:30 or 3:30 to 4:30 for assistance from our office staff. We will be reaching out this week to those families that have not completed this as these records are vital for our school operations and your Patriot's safety.
