Looking at the week ahead, we will have a Lockdown drill on Monday, VDOE Fall Growth Testing in math and reading for grades 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Thursday, and on Friday, we will have Character Dress Up Day.

Two important reminders for Character Dress Up Day:

1. Students cannot bring any fake or look alike weapons as part of their costume.
2. Any treats sent in for classes most be prepackaged and clearly labeled. Teachers will place treats in a bag to be sent home with students. If you have any concerns regarding allergies or treats being sent home with your student, please contact their teacher directly.

Next week, school is closed for students on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 3rd & 4th. We will also have 5th Grade VDOE Fall Growth testing on Nov. 5th & 6th, and then Career Day on Nov. 7th.
