Looking at the week ahead we have our 3rd Grade Reading SOL on Wednesday, 5th Grade Math SOL on Thursday, and 4th Grade Math SOL on Friday. Next week brings our 2nd Grade VALLS assessment on Wednesday, May 7th, 3rd Grade Math SOL on Thursday, May 8th, our 1st Grade VALLS assessment on Thursday & Friday, May 8th & 9th and our K/1 Musical on Thursday evening, May 8th

As we finish up this year attendance is more important than ever. Missing review or an exam date can have a major impact on student performance. Please remember that students in Virginia are designated as chronically absent if they miss 10% of the days in a school year which is 17 or more days and includes both excused and unexcused dates. This designation can lead to future issues such as retention, class scheduling, and learning problems so be sure to be mindful as we approach our final school days of the year to continue good attendance habits to finish the year strong and to avoid this designation

Registration for students attending Kindergarten in the 25-26 school year has begun! Any child that will be 5 by September 30th, 2025 is eligible to register. Please visit our Kindergarten Registration website to gather more information and to begin the process. As we begin to prepare for next school year, we appreciate families beginning registration as soon as possible so we can properly plan for our next amazing group of Patriots!
