I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful weekend with family. Now that our students are fully settled into the daily routine of school, our team officially made the switch this past week into our normal instruction, intervention, and enrichment routines to make sure every single Patriot gets exactly what they need to thrive!

Here are a few quick updates and upcoming dates as we head into the week:

• Bus Evacuation Drills: On Thursday morning, September 3rd, all students will participate in our required fall bus evacuation drills upon arrival.

• College Spirit Day: Show off your favorite school pride this Friday, September 4th for College Spirit Day! Whether you are cheering on the Hoos, Hokies, Dukes, Nittany Lions, or any other team, wear your favorite college gear.

• Labor Day Holiday: As a reminder, there will be no school on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

• Looking Ahead: Students in grades 2 and 3 will complete their baseline VALLS reading assessment on Thursday and Friday, September 10th and 11th. Also on Friday, September 11th, we will observe Patriot Day—please encourage your child to wear red, white, and blue!
