Hello Patriots! Looking at the week ahead, we will have a Lockdown drill on Monday, VDOE Fall Growth Testing in math and reading for grades 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Thursday, and on Friday, we will have Character Dress Up Day. Two important reminders for Character Dress Up Day: Students cannot bring any fake or look alike weapons as part of their costume. Any treats sent in for classes most be prepackaged and clearly labeled. Teachers will place treats in a bag to be sent home with students. If you have any concerns regarding allergies or treats being sent home with your student, please contact their teacher directly.

Hello Patriots! Looking at the week ahead, we will have our Stand Up to Cancer Fundraiser Spirit Week, Fall Picture Day on Tuesday, and the Hometown Homecoming Parade in Mineral on Thursday evening. Next week will bring VDOE Fall Growth Testing in math and reading for grades 3 and 4, and on Friday, October 31st, we will have Character Dress Up Day.

Hello Patriots! Looking at the week ahead, there is no school for students on Monday and Tuesday due to a Teacher Workday and a Staff Development Day. We will then have a 4th Grade Field Trip on Thursday and first Quarter report cards will come home on Friday. The next week brings Fall Picture Day on Tuesday, October 21st and the Hometown Homecoming Parade in Mineral on the evening of Thursday, October 23rd. We are looking forward to another great week!

Hello Patriots! Looking at the week ahead, we will kickoff Kindness Month, with our first division wide Kindness Day of the year on Wednesday. We will have a different Kindness initiative each week of October. Also this week, our Kindergarteners will head out for their first field trip of the year to the Pumpkin Patch on Friday.
