Hello Patriots! Looking at the week ahead, we will complete Kindergarten VALLs on Tuesday and then celebrate TeamLCPS Kindness Day on Wednesday. All students will receive a new Kindness shirt on Wednesday for the Kindness Day event. Over the next two weeks, we will be collecting change to raise money to support Grayson County, located in southwest Virginia, who was recently affected by Hurricane Helene.

Hello Patriots! What an amazing week we had at TJ! On Wednesday, we kicked off this year's whole school project which is Around the World in 80 Days! Be sure to ask your Patriot which continent their grade level is working on. Then of course, on Friday, we had another awesome MVP Day! To see the smiles on our Patriots' faces as they showed off their hard work for their MVPs was simply special.

Hello Patriots! Looking at the week ahead, we will kickoff our 5C Project for this year, Around the World in 80 Days on Wednesday, our 5th grades will head to the YMCA for Water Safety on Wednesday or Thursday (based on Homeroom) and of course Friday is our MVP Day. As a reminder, please get those RSVPs in ASAP so we can make sure everything is ready for the big day. If you plan for your Patriot to ride to school with their MVP on Friday, they do not need to go through our drop-off line in the morning. Instead just park in front of the building and once our buses clear we will admit those Patriots through the front door while their MVPs head to the check-in station. Check-in for MVPs begins at 8:15 and the event runs until 11:00.

Hello Patriots! Looking at the week ahead, we will have our TJ Family Movie Night on Tuesday and our first Asynchronous Learning Day and Constitution Day Community Service project on Wednesday. Also this week, our Book Fair will kickoff on Thursday. Please see the schedule below to see which day your Patriot will head to the fair. Next week brings our MVP Day on Friday, September 27th! We would love for each of our Patriots to bring an MVP, so be sure to complete the RSVP this week and return it to your child's teacher.

Hello Patriots! Looking at the week ahead we will have a Red, White, & Blue day on Wednesday to honor those affected by the 9/11 tragedy, Wednesday also brings our first Club Day, and then we will have a TeamLCPS Green & Gold day on Friday. The next week brings our TJ Family Movie Night on Tuesday, September 17th and our first Asynchronous Learning Day and Constitution Day Community Service project on Wednesday, September 18th.

Hello Patriots! I hope everyone stayed safe during the storms Thursday night that caused Friday's cancellation. Looking at the week ahead we will have a division holiday on Monday in observance of Labor Day, our first Buddy Class Hour on Wednesday, and our Kindergarten students will complete their baseline Reading assessment on Thursday. The following week brings our first Club Day on Wednesday 9/11 and a TeamLCPS Green & Gold day on Friday 9/13.
